Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 July 2023
Your travel has been booked based on the following terms and conditions.
The enclosed ticket(s) ("voucher(s)") have been booked by us on your behalf with various Service Providers. Each Service Provider may have their terms & conditions applying to your travel. You must read the relevant & corresponding brochure for each of your bookings to understand all applicable terms & conditions. If you require additional information to that contained in the brochure, we recommend that you contact the Service Provider for further clarification.
BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS
Your responsibilities:
• Open tickets: You must book your travel dates in advance with the individual Service Provider as per details provided on your voucher.
• Tickets with booked dates: You are responsible for ensuring you redeem your tickets on the dates booked. If you wish to change these dates, you must directly organise it with the Service Provider, with adequate notice.
• You must reconfirm all booked dates 48 hours before travel (minimum guide only) or in the manner stated in the instructions of the app or the service providers website. If applicable, dietary requirements should also be confirmed at this time.
CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS
If a Service Provider charges us for the cancelled travel, you must also pay us the amount that we are charged on your behalf by the Service Provider. Therefore, it is possible your cancellation fees could be up to 100% of the booking cost, regardless of whether travel has commenced (for example, cancellations made within 24hrs of travel or certain flight bookings).
The Cancellation Fee will apply in all cases where a tour can run. For example, if you are unable to reach a tour due to an "act of God" (for example, a road is cut off due to flooding), the standard Cancellation Fee will apply if the tour still runs in your absence or would have run but for your absence.
If the Service Provider cancels a tour or other travel service, we will refund you 100% of the amount paid for the tour or other travel service.
Where a refund or other payment applies, you may choose to transfer the total cost of the tour (less any operator cancellation charges) to another tour.
Whilst we typically attempt to process refunds swiftly, situations (such as natural disasters) may result in up to 30 days of processing due to high volume. For all other cancellations, please allow up to 10 business days for you to recieve your refund.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travellers take out travel insurance. It is your responsibility to purchase your travel insurance to cover any liability incurred to us or a Service Provider and other travel misadventures that you wish to be insured against.
We recommend that you source travel insurance with a low excess payment to make claiming cancelled tours worthwhile.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
We endeavour to package tours that will meet your expectations. However, we take no responsibility for any matters that arise concerning or during individual times or arrangements with individual Service Providers.
We appreciate your feedback, whether complaints, compliments or suggestions. However, to the extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible to you for any loss, expense or damage that you may suffer during any particular tour, accommodation or travel, no matter the cause. These matters are the responsibility of each Service Provider, and you agree that you will not hold us liable in any such circumstance.
PRICES
We endeavour to package the best value tours available at the best prices. However, we take no responsibility for price fluctuations arising from changes in the fees charged by Service Providers occurring before final payment. Accordingly, your travel cost is subject to change until you pay for the journey in full.
EXTRA COSTS
Many tours have extra costs, and you should be aware that there may be added expenses. These expenses will differ for each Service Provider, but some of the more usual extras are:
EMC Tax, Stinger suit Hire, Luggage storage, Sleeping Bag Hire, Linen Hire, National Park Fee, Food, Insurance, Accommodation, Equipment Hire, Petrol Levy.
We will alert you to extra costs to the extent reasonably practicable. However, you must also check with each Service Provider when you confirm your ticket.
PASSPORT & VISAS
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits that meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred due to such documents not meeting the needs of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel. Many countries require at least six months validity from the date of return, and some countries require a machine-readable passport.
Remember that we did not inherit the world from our Ancestors; we borrowed it from our Children.
HEALTH & VACCINATION
You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements and recommended precautions relevant to your travel booking and ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. In some cases, failure to present required vaccination documentation may deny you entry into an activity.
Concerning the COVID-19 Pandemic, travel carriers, travel operators and local authorities at travel destinations may require specific testing before boarding and/or upon arrival at your destination. They may also require proof of COVID-19 vaccinations. Failure to present required Covid related information may result in you being denied entry into a country and/or activity within your expected destination.
